Do I need to buy a ski pass as a complete beginner?

  • Yes, you have to, because our training area is situated up on the mountain directly at the Giggijoch.
  • The ski lift company, however, offers a special beginners' ski pass.

This ski pass alternative only makes sense when you really are a complete beginner, because only few lifts can be used. Please decide from day to day with regard to the advice of your skiing instructor, whether you buy it or change to the normal ski pass for greater pleasure.st

How do you make a differntiation among the different participants with their various skiing skills?

  • We differentiate according to the piste level they are able to ski on .

Green (piste): Complete beginner without any experience

Green plus: Snow Plow

Blue: Snow Plow/Parallel

Red: Parallel

Do the booked skiing lessons have to be on consecutive days?

Basically yes, they do.  It really makes sense to take the lessons on consecutive days, because the learning steps are closely linked to each other and follow a certain order.  If you or your kids skip a day this could lead to the result that you are no longer able to follow the course and that you have to change to another group.

Do you offer group lessons for children on every day of the week?

  • No, but almost, because there are no group lessons for kids on Saturdays.

Ski Group lessons for kids and teens are available from Sunday to Friday in the high season and in the low season from Sunday to Thursday.

  • So to say, there are ski group courses for kids on the following Fridays: Dec 27th 2024, Jan 03rd 2025, Feb 7th 2025, Feb 14th 2025, Feb 21st 2025, Feb 28th 2025, Apr 4th 2025, Apr 11th 2025 and Apr 18th 2025.
  • Good to know! We provide Snowboard group lessons for kids only in following weeks: 52/2024, 1/2025, 6-9/2025, 14-16/2025. Starting days for children are only Sunday and Monday.

Do my children have to have a certain age to be able to take part in a ski or snowboard course?

Ski lessons are available for kids aged 4 years or older.

Snowboard group lessons are available for children of a minimum age of 9 years.

Please note: Kids Snow Circus - Beginners

Unfortunately there are no children's ski courses for beginners this season (2024-2025). Due to the ever-increasing demand for children's beginner courses and at the same time a permanent lack of space in our children's area, we are unfortunately no longer able to meet our own requirements and the requirements of our customers. It is not possible for us to provide a high-quality children's beginner course in a suitable environment. Therefore we have decided to focus on children who can already ski. We take children from at least 4 years and level “green plus” (linked snowplough turns) who can already use the lift. We are still happy to offer individual beginner courses in private lessons.

Is it possible to have our kids in the same group?

  • First of all the ski kids are distinguished according to their skiing abilities, language and age. In case your children's or their friends' skills are on about the same level, we can put them together in the same group.
  • However, it is important for us to know that. Please tell us in advance (in the office or before classification on the mountain).
  • If the kids don't have the same level, but still want to be together in a group, the child with the better skiing skills will have to be considerate of his or her sibling or friend and ski with the slower group.

Which language wil be spoken in the group courses?

Our main languages of instruction in group courses are German and English.

We also have teachers who additionally to German and English speak Dutch, Danish, French, a.s.o.... They will above all support kids' courses.

There is, however, no absolute guarantee for a certain language in a group course. Be free to tell us your desired language, we will make a note of it.

When we form the groups of our skiers language indeed is a factor, but our main criteria are skiing skills.

Will I get my money back if I or my children don't like it?

  • It is not possible to receive a refund if the course is not to your liking.
  • Even though we don't expect and hope that this will happen, we can assure you that you or another family member can use other offers available in our Ski School Vacancia, - offers worth the difference of already used and not used formerly booked skiing days.

Is it possible to rebook from group to private lessons?

Basically yes, it is, so long as we have a skiing instructor free at the desired time. The difference in the price between group and private has to be paid aswell.

Can we postpone our course because of bad weather?

No, you can't. A booked course cannot be postponed or cancelled because of bad weather or similar occurrences. Cancellations of ski lessons due to weather condtions (acts of nature) are not refunded.
